A group of swimmers, who turned the sea pink to mark 10 years since a local Channel-crossing champ was deemed cancer-free, have raised more than £1,000 for charity.
Wendy Trehiou, who has swum the English Channel six times and around the island, and the Jersey Bluetits Chill Swimmers rounded on Bouley Bay on Sunday.
Ladies were encouraged to turn up in a bink decorated bra over their swimming costumes, while men were encouraged to do the same or decorate their “bad buoys to say balls to cancer”, with each participant asked to give a donation of at least £5 to Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey.
More than £1,100 has been raised so far, but you can donate more HERE.
