Guernsey-born footballer Maya Le Tissier is on course to be picked up by Manchester United.
The 20-year-old has been playing for Brighton and Hove Albion in the Women’s Super League and is lauded as one of the best players in the English top division.
The defender is set to join Manchester United after the team agreed to pay her release clause. Her contract and the relevant paperwork is now close to being completed.
Maya was awarded the Channel Island Sports Personality of the Year trophy in 2019 and also represented England at the under-23 level.
