Hackers are claiming the two Burmese men facing the death penalty for the 2014 murders of Jerseyman David Miller and Hannah Witheridge have been made scapegoats and are calling for tourists to boycott Thailand.
International Cyber activists 'Anonymous' have declared war on the Thai police and brought down seven of their websites.
Links show a black screen with “Failed Law. We want Justice. #BoycottThailand” in white text and the group's signature mask - a white Guy Falkes face and the text "Blink hacker group".
On Christmas Eve migrant workers Zaw Lin and Wai Phyo were found guilty and sentenced to death for the brutal murders. They had initially confessed to the murders but later retracted their statements, claiming they had been tortured by police.
The 'Anonymous' group claims Thai police would rather blame foreigners or migrants to protect the country's tourism industry and are now urging visitors to avoid Thailand until the police made changes to the way they handle rape and murder cases involving either foreigners or migrants.
The battered bodies of 24-year-old David and 23-year-old Hannah were discovered on the idyllic holiday island of Koh Tao on 15 September 2014.
Hannah from Hemsby in Norfolk, had been raped before she was killed, while David had been hit over the head before drowning in the sea.
The police investigation and prosecution process have both been controversial - with rights groups protesting about corruption, including alleged irregularities over DNA evidence - but the Miller family have backed the process and the ultimate result.
After the sentencing David Miller's family said "justice" had been done. His brother Michael said: “David was hacked down from behind, dragged into the sea, and left to die. That will live with us forever,” he said.
