Food blogger and social media sensation Deliciously Ella is bringing her latest cookbook, 'Deliciously Ella with Friends', to this year’s Jersey Festival of Words.
After her first cookbook 'Deliciously Ella' sold over 300,000 copies, becoming the UK's biggest selling debut cookbook, Ella Mills has continued to enjoy success from her blog, product line and chain of delis in London.
Now going into its third consecutive year, the Jersey Festival of Words is a five-day-long literary event which, according to its website, aims to 'promote a love of the written and spoken word across the community'.
Posting on Facebook, the Festival said that they were "thrilled" to announce this addition to their lineup.
Ella's whirlwind success as a food blogger began after she was diagnosed with a rare illness called Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS). Overnight, she gave up meat, gluten, dairy, sugar and all processed foods.
Explaining her approach, Ella said: "Deliciously Ella is all about natural food. It’s not about diet or deprivation, but about celebrating what you can do with simple, unprocessed ingredients.
"There’s no one size fits all and everything I do can be adapted to suit anyone. I like to eat foods that I love, that satisfy me and that help me feel the best that I can so that I can be the best that I can – it’s really as simple as that!"
Ella will appear at Jersey Opera House on Thursday 28th September at 8pm. Tickets can be bought from Jersey Opera House box office, by calling 511115 or online here.
