One of Jersey’s oldest seaside hotels wants you to check-in all your memories of your stays there for a special exhibition.

The Ommaroo Hotel at Havre des Pas is celebrating its centenary next year and planning a number of events and promotions.

Managing Director Fiona Kerley said: “As one of the oldest and last remaining family-run seaside hotels in Jersey, we appreciate the importance of support from our local community. We are delighted to kick start our centenary celebrations by compiling an exhibit of some of the images from our past 100 years.

“We are keen for the public to come forward with their stories, pictures and memorabilia from the hotel’s past. We know the hotel has been the venue for a number of weddings and regular events in the past and we would love to see your pictures and hear your anecdotes.”

The hotel has passed through four generations of the same family and is still under the ownership of Major Colin Grant.

You can email your stories and images to functions@ommaroo.com or send them to Ommaroo Hotel, Havre des Pas, St Helier, JE2 4UL.

All those who contribute to the exhibition will be invited to a special reception at the hotel next year.
