Jersey Fire and Rescue Service are helping in the search for missing person Steven Corbet.
The 58-year-old man has not been seen since Monday and at the request of Guernsey's emergency services, Jersey Fire and Rescue Service sent one of their drones and a drone operator, Station Commander Marc Le Cornu, over to Guernsey to help search for Steven Corbet.
Mr Le Cornu used the drone, which has an on-board camera, in the area around Pleinmont, searching the dangerous cliff areas. He has so far taken 227 aerial images and is continuing to work today with the Guernsey search teams.
A Jersey Fire and Rescue statement said: “Our thoughts go out to the family of Steven and we pray that the search teams find him today.”
The search is focused around the area that Mr Corbet was last seen, when he got off a bus outside The Imperial Hotel, Rocquaine, at 12.04pm on Monday, June 27.
