Jessie J to 'do it like a dude' in Jersey

Jessie J will be hitting Jersey this summer to show islanders how to 'do it like a dude' in People's Park.

The award-winning singer and star of 'The Voice' has been announced this morning as the headline act at the second edition of Electric Park festival on Saturday 11 July.

Organised by Rockit, the festival made its debut last August in Howard Davis' Park with Deadmau5.

This year, the festival will be migrating to a new home in People's Park.

Warren Holt, Co-Director of Electric Park and previous joint organiser of Jersey Live, said that he was "delighted" to bring Electric Park back in a "fantastic new venue".

"Jessie J needs little introduction and I’m sure Jersey’s music fans will be just as excited as we are at seeing her perform in the island for the first time. We have lots more acts to come and we can’t wait to reveal more about the line-up we have in store.".

Jessie J first burst onto the music scene with hit 'Do it like a dude' before going on to make a name for herself with 'Price Tag', which clinched number one spots across 18 jurisdictions, and scoring the prestigious 'Critic's Choice' BRIT Award and becoming BBC's 'Sound of 2011'.
