Les Amis residents will be spreading the love from 11:00 to 16:00 on Valentine's Day with a hot chocolate giveaway and flapjack sale in Brook Street, opposite Paperchase.
The residents will be ensuring everyone feels loved this Valentine’s Day as the charity gives away delicious hot chocolate, with the option of marshmallows and whipped cream on top.
The milk has been donated by Jersey Dairy, while the Co-op donated a voucher to buy the hot chocolate. SandpiperCI will be providing additional hot chocolate and cups.
After selling out last year, the flapjacks will make their return. This year, they will be handmade by the residents.
Les Amis staff and residents will be on deck to supply copious amounts of Valentine’s cheer and answer any questions about the charity. Corporate and fund services specialist ZEDRA Les Amis’ corporate charitable partner, will be helping the residents spread the love and raise awareness for the charity.
Jason Loveless, Head of Support Services at Les Amis, said: “This year we have decided to giveaway our Valentine’s Hot Chocolate for free as we want to make sure everyone feels loved this Valentine’s Day. Our residents are incredibly excited to bake the flapjacks so I hope people will support the charity and buy a flapjack as they receive their free hot chocolate.”
All money raised will go towards the charity, which provides essential support to Islanders with learning disabilities.
