Les Quennevais Sports Centre closed due to power issue

Some of tomorrow's classes are being relocated as investigations into a power supply issue that suddenly closed the main building at Les Quennevais Sports Centre earlier today continue.

Activity in the surrounding club buildings and the playing fields was able to continue as normal as the issue only impacted the main building.

In a social media post, sports centre staff apologised for the inconvenience.

This evening, they provided an update, confirming that tomorrow's activities would also face disruption, though some classes have been relocated.

Alternative lane swimming sessions will be available to book at Langford, and group fitness classes have been moved to alternative facilities at Langford and Springfield.

"No changes have yet been made to classes for tomorrow evening while we await further updates following the investigation of the power supply issues," the team added.

"We will update customers tomorrow when we know more about the impact of the power supply issues. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
