A lifeboat had to tow a sailing dinghy carrying three people back to St. Helier yesterday after the vessel ran into difficulty with its mast.
The dinghy encountered problems near Demie des Pas lighthouse and the RNLI was called at 09:07.
The Spirit of St Helier, the RNLI's inshore lifeboat, was sent to assist.
None of the three crew members on board the dinghy were injured.
The RNLI said conditions were relatively calm and that after assessing that everyone on board was safe, the dinghy was towed back to St. Helier.
