Two Jersey hair specialists have reached the Grand Finals of the L'Oreal Professional Colour Trophy Awards.
Colour specialist Natalie Ousby and Artistic Director Eoghan McCullagh of Maraki Hair Lounge will be competing against some top UK names in the prestigious final in London today.
Encouraged by their L'Oreal colleagues and clients, Natalie and Eoghan entered the competition.
To make it to the Grand Final, Natalie and Eoghan had to create a well-executed, inspirational and modern colour look on any model, of any gender or hair type.

This had to be complemented by a beautiful style, finish and total look, taking inspiration from upcoming trends.
To complete the finish on their model, the pair had support from local make-up artist Nanda Fernandes of Make-Up by Nanda, stylist and former Real Housewife of Jersey Tessa Hartmann and local photographer Danny Richardson.

On proceeding to the Grand Final, Eoghan said: “This honour celebrates our passion, creativity and commitment to delivering top-notch hair artistry. We cannot wait to go to London to compete!"
Natalie added: “We entered the competition thinking it would be a great experience and were delighted to make it through to the next stage. This prestigious event celebrates hair artistry and professional excellence and is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in.”

In the Grand Final, held in Old Billingsgate in London today (Monday 8 July), Natalie and Eoghan will compete against the likes of celebrity hairdresser Trevor Sorbie.
As well as the contest, the event will include artistic shows from Giuseppe Stelitano and the Trevor Sorbie Artistic Team as well as Robert Eaton and the Russell Eaton Artistic team.
