With lockdown recently having eased, a local pooch has lent a helping paw to help explain the latest rules with a twist of humour.
But first, let's get to know him...
Bruno is a 2.5-year-old German Shepherd.
He has been in a foster home with Zeffrienne d'Ulivo-Rogers since May 2019, while he waits patiently to find the perfect fur-ever home.

Bruno loves food and training, as well as cuddles and lazy mornings.
He is also a big people-lover and needs to be involved in everything, including baking, cleaning and of course eating.
While he loves dogs, Bruno is not so keen on other animals, which are far too exciting for him.

He also loves to play with balls on the beach – his favourite is the XL chuckit ball - and hunting on the dunes.
A clever boy, he knows lots of tricks and is great at posing for pictures – Zeffrienne says he will do anything for treats. He also enjoys agility, running and scootering.
Bruno is rather excitable and can be strong when on walks, but, in the house, he is “a dream”... just not so much at 'guard dog' duties.

Zeffrienne jokes that he is the “worst security dog ever”. “He will run away or greet them with a waggy tail,” she said.
“Obviously he is the cutest thing ever!” she added. “And he is the best beggar you've ever seen, it's impossible to say no as he offers the cutest tricks and behaviours that no one can resist!”
Bruno welcomed the recent easing of lockdown restrictions which meant he was able to meet up with his four-legged friends and spend more time outside.

You can meet up to five people a day… but don’t stand too close to them...
Hmmm… That’s way too close!
...Much better!
Pancakes, aluminium and balls are not appropriate face masks...
If you go to the beach, remember to pick up after yourself!
You can hug anyone in your household.
When at the shops, follow the one-way system, be patient… and wear your mask (I forgot one, but luckily dogs don't have to wear them!).
Only buy what you need... There’s no need to be hoarding toilet roll!
If you find yourself bored at home, there are many things you can do...
You can learn new tricks … like fitting more than one tennis ball in your mouth...
You can sort out your toys...
You can play dress-up...
You can go for a walk… and observe the wildlife...
You can also bake…
...or simply lick the bowl...
But it’s bad hygiene to put your nose in someone else’s food...
Speaking of hygiene, you should wash your hands regularly. I prefer to go all in...
You should also clean surfaces often...
And, after all this, don’t forget to get your beauty sleep!
