A 27-year-old man has been arrested after punching a 60-year-old who asked him to leave three women alone in The Office pub.
The alleged grave and criminal assault occurred last Friday 7 December around 23:00. The 27-year-old, who is described as 6ft tall, of slim build with short dark hair and a stubble, has since been released on bail.
Police say the two men did not know each other. They believe that it was clear to the older man that the younger man, who was wearing a white shirt, was causing a disturbance.
It is alleged the younger man punched the other after being told to leave three women alone.

At the time, he was still holding his glass in his hand, causing a small cut to the alleged victim's face. The 60-year-old man was taken to A&E by ambulance to be treated.
