A 40-year-old man has appeared in the Royal Court, charged with entering the Best Western Hotel and stealing a bottle of vodka, a bottle of gin, and a cash drawer.
Luke James Oeillet appeared in the Royal Court on Friday 31 March where he was charged with illegal entry and larceny.
The alleged offences took place in September last year.
Craig Clayton Livesey (26) also appeared alongside Mr Oeillet, and they were both charged with attempted illegal entry.
The two men had allegedly attempted to illegally enter a flat on Midvale Road on 23 September 2022 with intent to commit a crime.
Mr Oeillet and Mr Livesey are next due to appear in court on 12 June 2023.
The Bailiff, Timothy Le Cocq, was presiding. Crown Advocate Matthew Maletroit appeared on behalf of the prosecution.
