A 25-year-old man has denied illegally using an e-scooter, causing an injury by riding it carelessly, and failing to report the accident.
Toby Oliver Woolley pleaded not guilty to the charges when he appeared in the Magistrate's Court.
The alleged incidents are said to have taken place on 1 May this year.
Mr Woolley was released on bail to return to the court on 23 November for a plea and directions hearing.
