A man has died following a car crash in St.Peter's Valley in Jersey.
The Police say it happened at 16.20 yesterday afternoon, and involved a red coloured Suzuki Jimny which was travelling north along the valley and a blue coloured Ford Focus which was travelling south.
It took place just south of the junction with Mont Fallu, and the man killed was the only occupant of one of the vehicles - the people in the second car weren't hurt. St. Peter's Valley was closed for the the rest of the evening while Forensic Collision Investigators and Crime Scene Investigators looked at the scene, assisted by the Honorary Police.

A young man has died after a car crash in St Peter's Valley this afternoon.
He was the driver and only person in his car. Those in the other car involved in the crash did not suffer any injuries.
The road remains closed for technical examination.
Police are now looking for witnesses to establish exactly what happened, in particular the occupants of a car described by witnesses as an old style yellow coloured car with a UK registration plate commencing with the letters “SW”.
This vehicle is not believed to have had any involvement in the collision.
The dead man's family are being supported by Police liaison officers.
