Police are seeking witnesses to an apparent assault that saw a man pushed from the sea wall into the incoming tide near West Park yesterday.
They said the man was left with “minor injuries” from the incident, which took place around 10:13 on Sunday in Layby 2, Victoria Avenue.
Anyone who saw what happened or has more information is urged to contact Police on 612612 or make an anonymous report using Crimestoppers’ online form.
