The first image of Jersey boy Henry Cavill from the forthcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie has been released.
The young superstar will line up with a glittering cast including Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams and Laurence Fishburne for the film, which is due out in the summer of 2016.
Shooting has begun on the film at Michigan Motion Picture Studios and on location in and around Detroit, and more filming is expected in Africa and around the south Pacific.
Zack Snyder, who directed Henry in the Man Of Steel in 2013, is back in the director’s chair for the collision of two of the biggest film franchises in history.
Man of Steel earned $668 million around the world and was the second-highest-grossing reboot of all time behind The Amazing Spiderman.
