A 29-year-old man had to be taken to hospital after being hit by a car outside Bacchus Bar, police have said in an appeal for more information.
The collision was reported to have happened on St James Street in St Helier on Wednesday (20 December) at around 17:30.
Officers said in a statement: "The collision involved a silver VW car, and a pedestrian.
"The silver VW, driven by a 22-year-old man, was travelling past St. James Church, towards St. Saviour’s Road.
"The pedestrian, a 29-year-old man, was struck by the car outside the Bacchus Bar and sustained a fracture to his left ankle. He was taken to hospital for medical assessment and treatment."
