Missing woman found safe

Police have extended their thanks to Islanders, after a 40 year-old woman who went missing on Monday has been found.

Oksana Andrews had been reported missing, with sightings of her wearing a parka and Crocs were recorded in the Val Plaisant area of St Helier.

After launching a successful appeal for information on the States of Jersey Police (SOJP) Facebook and Twitter pages, the Force announced that Ms Andrews "has been located safe and well by our officers" just after 19:30 On Monday night.

In a message on their Facebook page, the Police thanked locals for their help.
