Missing woman's body found in Herm

The body of a 56-year-old missing woman has been found on a beach in Herm.

Sarah Tullier was reported missing around 04:25 this morning, and a post was shared on Guernsey Police's Facebook Page.

The post asked anyone with information to call Police HQ. 

But Police have now confirmed that, just under five hours later, she was found on Fisherman's Beach at around 09:15. 

"Mrs Tullier’s next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with her loved ones at this difficult time. Police are not currently treating her death as suspicious, and a post mortem will be carried out in due course," a spokesperson said.

Islanders have since shared their condolences, paying tribute to what one Facebook commenter described as a "beautiful lady inside and out".

No further information is expected to be released.
