Motorcyclist 'knocked off bike by car'


Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was reportedly knocked off his bike by a car.

According to officers, the collision took place on Saturday 12 September around 16:15.

Police said: "A motorcyclist heading down the hill was knocked off his bike at the junction of St .John’s Road and Queens Road by a car turning right onto St. Johns Rd.

"The driver of the car didn’t stop and the rider sustained some minor injuries but did not require any medical treatment."

Anyone who may have seen this or who has any information is urged to call Police on 612612 or make an anonymous report using the Crimestoppers website.
