Motorcyclist 'knocked off bike by car'

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was reportedly knocked off his bike by a car.

According to officers, the collision took place on Saturday 12 September around 16:15.

Police said: "A motorcyclist heading down the hill was knocked off his bike at the junction of St .John’s Road and Queens Road by a car turning right onto St. Johns Rd.

"The driver of the car didn’t stop and the rider sustained some minor injuries but did not require any medical treatment."
