Police are appealing for information about a double bicycle crash that left one rider with "minor injuries".

According to the Force, the crash occurred yesterday morning (Thursday 3 October) in the area of Sandybrook Lane.

In a statement, they said: "At around 08:00hrs, a pedal cycle travelling eastbound on Vallee de St Pierre collided with another pedal cycle coming up Sandybrook Lane. The rider of the second pedal cycle sustained minor injuries."

Officers are now looking to track down the rider of the other bicycle, which carried a child in a bike seat, who they described as "female, approximately 30 years old, [and of] Asian appearance".
