Sausage, St Ewolds residential home's favourite pup, is in for a big treat after winning the top prize at Crufts dog show as HiLife 'Pets as Therapy' Dog of the Year.
The top dog finished first among the six finalists that were shortlisted earlier this month.
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who is a registered PAT dog, enjoyed himself so much at the dog show that he delighted the audience with one of his 'Sausage rolls.'
His owner, Angie Seedhouse, is "over the moon" following the result. "We were really pleased when he heard his name being called out, we have a big treat waiting for him in the car."
