Police appeal after double car collision

Tuesday 19 November 2019

Two drivers escaped without serious injuries after a front-on collision that resulted in both cars being towed away yesterday.

Police are now appealing for more information about the crash, which took place around 16:15 at the junction of Saville Street and Rouge Bouillon.

According to the Police: “The collision involved a green Toyota Yaris driven by a 26-year-old woman and a grey Peugeot 3008 driven by a 35-year-old man.

“Both cars received significant front-end damage and had to be towed away.

“One of those involved received very minor injuries which did not require hospital treatment.”

They are urging members of the public who witnessed the crash or have further information to call 612612 or make an anonymous report using the Crimestoppers website.
