Tuesday 15 December 2020

A 52-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly getting out of his car before threatening and spitting in the face of a 60-year-old.

Police said the reported assault took place on Friday 11 December around 14:15 along La Rue de la Ville es Renauds, Grouville in the area between Café Poste and the entrance to the Ville es Renauds car park.

In an appeal for information, officers said they didn't believe that the two men knew each other.

They continued: “It is alleged that the 52 year-old man got out of his car and approached the 60 year-old who was crossing the road at the time. He then allegedly verbally assaulted him and made threats, before spitting in his face.
