Tuesday 06 March 2018

Police are hunting a cyclist alleged to have “punched” the bonnet of a Lexus in an apparent fit of “road rage”.

The alleged incident occurred near local pub Chambers on Mulcaster Street at around 17:50 on Friday.

Police said that the reported “punch” occurred following an altercation between the cyclist – a male believed to be around 25 years old – and the driver of the silver car.
