It closed one of the Island's main roads for a couple of hours, and led to a car crash - now Jersey Police are investigating a major diesel spill this morning along Commercial Buildings.
They say it happened at around 08:40 this morning, and led to signficiant traffic delays while the road was closed for cleaning. Also, a car and a motorbike crashed, leaving the rider with a broken wrist.
Now the Police are appealing for witnesses, to try and find out exactly what happened.
RTC o/s La Folie Public House on Commercial Buildings, traffic is very heavy and delays likely. Please avoid the area for the time being.
