Powerhouse closes as staff get tested

Thursday 12 November 2020

The Powerhouse store on Queen’s Road has been forced to close its doors temporarily due to too many staff having to stay at home after taking a covid test.

Stuart Murphy, Jersey Electricity’s Head of Customer Experience and Communications said: “In line with Government guidance, Jersey Electricity customer facing employees have taken the opportunity for a corona virus test, and several of the retail team have been advised to stay at home until their results are known.

“This has led to an unforeseen and acute staff shortage which we hope to rectify as soon as possible.

“We apologise for any inconvenience to our customers. Customers can still shop online at www.powerhouse.je and click and collect, or over the telephone 0800 048 8042 and click and collect.”
