Firefighters were spotted hitting the pub yesterday afternoon - but not for a well-earned pint.
They were called to The New Park at Pierson Road around 15:45 on Tuesday (7 January).

Upon arrival, the group extended a ladder to the rooftop area, where it emerged there was a chimney fire.
The area was cleared and the road closed while they worked to put out the flames, causing some traffic disruption in the area. Police urged islanders to avoid passing through it.
In a post on Facebook after the matter had been dealt with, Jersey Fire and Rescue apologised for any delays caused to commuters.
Watch Commander Ryan added that the incident should serve as a reminder to islanders that open fires should be "cleaned and maintained regularly by a trained professional".
