A newly refurbished room in St. Helier's Parish Hall has reopened this week to provide a "safe space" in town for parents and young children.
After a week of closure, the family room has now been redecorated to include improved baby-change facilities, new furniture, and a well-equipped space for those who are breastfeeding.
Connor Burgher, St Helier's Town Centre Manager, said: "The room is open for anyone who needs it.
"There is new furniture and the necessary supplies for anyone who may need to make use of it."
He added: "It is very popular. It can be quite a challenge for women to find a safe space to breastfeed or fee their child when in town.
"There are also toys in there now too. There will always be a warm welcome."
The room is open the same hours as the Town Hall, from 09:00 to 16:30.
