Ride for Klaire

Family and friends of a Jersey woman who died in a motorcycle crash in Germany last week will ride around the Island in her memory tonight.

Klaire Garnier, a former Hautlieu College student, whose nickname was Klaire Bear, was described by family and friends as kind, considerate and passionate.

The 22-year-old died after she collided with a Land Rover last week near the town of Fuchtorf, around 30 miles form her home.

More than 100 bikers are expected to take part in the ride tonight, which starts at St Catherine’s Bay at 18:30 and they will then head to St John’s Road, along Five Mile Road and the finish will be at Watersplash.
