Police are appealing for information after a ring which “holds significant sentimental value” was lost in the General Hospital at the end of last month.
The gold wedding band – which is described as “unusually wide” for a female ring – bears the inscription "Bridie & Bill 17.3.62”.
In a Facebook post, police shared images of a near-identical ring for identification purposes.
Anyone with information is being asked to phone the police on 612612.
