A dispute's broken out between a local garage and one of the island's main fuel providers over alleged invoice payment and trademark issues.
Rubis issued a media statement yesterday saying that it had stopped supplying fuel to La Moye Garage.
It alleges that the St. Brelade-based provider had “significant” outstanding invoices, and it is concerned that the garage is continuing to supply fuel to customers from pumps featuring the company’s logo, but which isn't Rubis fuel.

“Although the pumps at La Moye Garage are currently displaying the Rubis brand, customers are advised that the fuel they are buying is not supplied by Rubis as of last week.
“Customers are further advised that the Rubis Card is also no longer valid at this location but still accepted at nearby locations. The closest are MBC Motor Repairs at Red Houses and Falles Airport Garage, where high quality additivated performance fuel is available,” the statement read.
La Moye Garage owner, Keith Syvret, has been approached by Express to give his response to the allegations, but has so far declined to comment officially.
