"Security hoax" delays Condor ferry

A hoax call to Dorset Police is causing delays to today's Condor Ferry sailings.

In a press release the firm says "the departure from Poole was delayed whilst Dorset police conducted searches. The alert was found to be a hoax. Naturally we are extremely disappointed that the irresponsible actions of an individual have inconvenienced our customers and diverted police resources in this way."

Due to the delayed departure and tidal restrictions in Jersey, it has been necessary to amend today's service as follows:
