Three people charged in connection with the seizure of over £200,000 of cannabis appeared in Jersey's Magistrate's Court this morning.
Ralph Lloyd Simon (65) and Daryl Davies (53) are charged with a total of six counts of possession, and possession with intent to supply drugs.
48-year-old Joanne Marie Jones, who also appeared in connection with these offences, had her bail application refused. Ms Jones is charged with possession and possession with intent to supply cannabis.
Assistant Magistrate Peter Harris, presiding, said that this case is “too serious for this court to deal with,” and the three defendants will be remanded in custody until their interim hearing in the Magistrate's Court on the 26 September.
