You could be one of 250 people off to see Henry Cavill’s new movie before anyone else and raise money for the world-renowned wildlife charity he supports here in Jersey.

Cineworld is hosting an exclusive, first-in-Europe pre-screening of the Hollywood star's latest blockbuster The Man from U.N.C.L.E on 13 August as a fundraiser for Durrell.

Henry won't be there in person for this special screening as he'll be in New York for the worldwide premiere but he's left this message for fans: “It's been a wonderful surprise to have the opportunity to screen The Man from U.N.C.L.E in Jersey. I was not expecting to have the chance to show you my movie this year but Durrell in all their wisdom approached us and broached the idea, my team and I in turn approached WB.

“However, there is of course costs involved in these things and Jersey being a small but obviously totally amazing (!) territory wasn’t high on the list of places to spend money when selling the movie. Durrell again stepped to the fore and secured some incredible sponsors in Jersey through Cineworld Jersey, The Liberation Group, 365Tickets Jersey and Charge Point.

"So, through the sponsors generosity and Durrell’s passion we finally have the chance to Pre-screen the movie on the 13th of August at Cineworld! The best thing of course is that all proceeds will go to #cavillconservation which is in aid of Durrell and all its ventures.

"So, all in all it's been an incredible result and you guys at home get to see the movie a little bit before anyone else!

Jersey's famous superhero has gone undercover for his latest assignment, hanging up his cape for a new mission to stop an international criminal organisation and prevent a worldwide catastrophe.

He's starring as Napoleon Solo in the film remake of the 60's show and is cast alongside The Social Network’s Armie Hammer who plays Ilya Kuryakin in the film directed by Guy Ritchie – a remake of the original TV series that ran from 1964 to 1968.

The film co-stars Alicia Vikander, Hugh Grant, Elizabeth Debicki, Jared Harris and Luca Calvani.

Henry said: "I really do hope you enjoy it because this is one of my favourite movies to date!”

There are just 250 tickets up for grabs for the event that includes a champagne reception and a signed photo of Henry.
