A convicted sex offender has pleaded guilty to "making indecent images of children", as well as breaching a previous restraining order restricting his contact with children.
Stephen Edward Facchino (34) also admitted failing to register devices with access to the internet against the restraining order, which was imposed following a previous offence in 2018, and possessing cannabis resin and herbal cannabis.
Facchino appeared in Royal Court on 13 December 2019 to answer two charges of breaching a restraining order.
He admitted failing to register devices capable of accessing the internet and being in contact with a male child under the age of 16 without removing himself from the situation, along with the drugs offences, at that time.
He was then made to return to the Royal Court on Friday (31 January) to answer an additional charge relating to indecent images of children.
His lawyer, Advocate Sarah Dale, entered a guilty plea on his behalf.
Facchino will be sentenced on 20 May before the Superior Number, a panel that only assembles for the most serious cases.
He has been remanded in custody in the meantime.
