STRIKES: How are schools affected this week?

More than 20 schools will partially close this week as the next round of teacher strikes gets underway.

Members of the National Education Union (NEU) will strike for three days this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as the row over pay rises continues.

Negotiations with the government over a potential inflationary rise are still underway, but no deal has been struck as yet, with the Government announcing a series of planned year group closures this afternoon.
