There’s a perfect antidote to a lazy Sunday morning this weekend – a leisurely 6.2 mile charity run with Jersey Spartans.
The club is holding their Spring 10k on Sunday morning, going from the Radisson Blu Hotel up to La Haule and back.
And don’t worry if you’re the type of person who prefers their Sundays to be a little more relaxing – the hotel is putting on a free bacon roll and coffee for everyone who takes part.
The run, organised by Jersey Spartan Athletics Club in association with GymClub.com, is open to all standards of runners. Anyone looking to take part can either sign up before midnight on Saturday online for £15, or there’s a charge of £20 if you turn up on the day.
The race starts at 9.30 am, but runners need to turn up a little bit earlier for registration between 8 am and 9 am.
