Nine brave volunteers will be "taking the leap” in a charity skydive next month which aims to raise £5,000 to fund play sessions and events for children with additional needs.
The islanders will be taking on the adrenaline-packed stunt on Sunday 29 September in support of local charity Happy Heroes.
Founded last April and receiving official charity status in October, Happy Heroes aims to provide a safe, enclosed environment for children with additional needs to play and socialise with their peers, and be themselves without judgement.
The fast-growing charity also offers parents and carers the ability to relax knowing their children are safe and to engage with other families who are in similar circumstances, as well as access emotional support.

Directors of the charity and sisters, Emma and Robyn, were inspired to found the organisation when Robyn realised she had "nowhere in Jersey to take the boys out for the day safely alone". Her twin sons have autism and are non verbal.
The charity has so far supported 157 children and 89 families who were in a similar situation.
Writing on their donation page, they said: "Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to our fundraising goal.
"Your contribution will directly impact our ability to provide essential services and make a positive difference in the kids lives of those in need on our beautiful island."
They added: "Your support fuels our courage as we take the leap for a cause close to our hearts. Let's make this an unforgettable experience for a cause that truly matters."
