Tattooed ‘attacker’ sought by Police

Police are seeking a man with “sleeve tattoos on both arms” who was arguing with a young woman and then allegedly attacked a passer-by causing injuries to his face and torso on Saturday night.

The alleged victim, a man in his 50’s, was heading home when he passed the arguing couple, before he claims the tattooed male assaulted him causing him injuries to his face and torso, but he did not go to hospital.

The alleged assault took place on Saturday 1 June between 22:00 and 23:00 on St. Saviour’s Road – near the bottom of Wellington Hill.

The suspect is described as being in his mid to late twenties, white, about 5’10”, slim and with curly, wavy dark hair that went over his ears. He was wearing shorts and a T-shirt and he had sleeve tattoos on both arms.

He was with a woman who appeared younger, with a petite build, possibly in her early twenties, around 5’5” with either fair or light brown hair.
