A 17-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of drug importation after police seized cannabis with an estimated street value of £30,000.
The arrest took place yesterday (Saturday 11 December) in St. Clement and the young man remains in custody as investigations continue.
Police are appealing for witnesses and individuals with more information, and ask anyone who can help to call 612612 or make an anonymous report via Crimestoppers' online form.
They added: "If you or someone you know is struggling with drug or alcohol misuse issues, help and advice can be obtained by going to the Alcohol & Drugs Service page on www.Gov.je or calling 445000 Monday to Friday."
