Teen motorcyclist injured in car collision

Police are investigating after a crash in St. Brelade that left a teen motorcyclist with a serious leg injury.

The collision between the Black Yamaha 125 and Blue Chevrolet Matiz, which was driven by an 18-year-old girl, took place outside La Moye Garage in St. Brelade at 17:29 yesterday (Sunday 12 July).

Police said they believed the 17-year-old motorbike rider's leg was broken in the collision, but noted no other major injuries.

A spokesperson for the Force added that no arrests were made at the time and that the collision remains under investigation.
