Parking will be free at these car parks from this weekend

It's that time of year again - parking will become free of charge at a number of car parks from this Saturday.

Between 1 October 2022 and 31 March 2023, islanders won't have to pay for parking in the following places:

• Lay-bys 5, 6 and 7 on Victoria Avenue,

• Victoria House at Bel Royal,

• La Perquage along La Route de la Haule,

• La Mielle at St. Aubin,

• Midbay in St. Brelade,

• Woodford in St. Brelade, and

• Tams in St. Brelade.

While parking will be free of charge, rules on maximum stays still apply - that's 12 hours in a 24-hour zone or seven consecutive days.

Islanders are also banned from advertising vehicles as being for sale in any of these car parks.
