A man was flown to Jersey on Friday to face a charge of conspiracy to import £11,000 worth of the controlled drug MDMA.
Michael Anthony Hall (32), a native of Bury, reserved his plea to a charge of conspiracy to import the drug between 3 August and 11 October last year.
His alleged co-conspirators, Kaine Richard Whittingham, from Jersey, and Zoe Louise Myers, from Lancashire, had already appeared in the Magistrate’s Court and had been remanded to the Royal Court because of the seriousness of the charge.
Centenier John Camara of St Peter told the Magistrate Advocate Peter Harris that Mr Hall was at the English end of the conspiracy to import the drugs. Mr Hall made no bail application through duty Advocate Caroline Dutot and was remanded in custody to appear again on 26 April for a committal to the Royal Court on 24 May.
