The number of known active cases of covid in Jersey has risen by almost 60% in the past week, and two islanders have died.
According to the latest data released by Government, the number of cases now stands at 815, a rise of 301 over the past seven days.
Meanwhile, the number of people in hospital with Covid rose from 16 to 23, and the number in care homes rose from 37 to 58.

Islanders are asked to do an LFT before visiting vulnerable people and to also wear a mask in health and care settings. Do not visit if feeling unwell.
The government has expressed condolences to the families of those who had passed away, as the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic reached 144.
