The Island’s original ‘sober raving’ event, The Awakening Club, is back this summer.

Event organiser Laura Rosser is bringing back the family-focused event that invites all ages to get up and dance and gives guests a chance to try out a host of 'feel good' treatments and entertainment.

The event on Sunday 4 June will be held at ‘The View’- Fort Regent's bar and terrace.

Organisers have said Jersey’s “finest DJs” will provide a soundtrack to other activities at the event such as massage therapists, a circus themed crafts area, play area, Sita’s Circus Workshop, glitter, face painting and tattoo transfers station as well as bubbles and giant balloons, parachute dance and a photo booth.

Laura Rosser, organiser of The Awakening Club, said: "We’re thrilled to be awakening islanders to the wonderful fun that can be had whilst giving our wellbeing a ‘party’ too! Clubbing and enjoying dancing, music and friendly fun is not just for late nights and drinking. By adding the amazing view from the rooftop at Fort Regent’s The View, we really are setting the scene for a breathtaking event.

"Alongside the awesome energy off The Awakening club, revellers of all ages can indulge in a range of other activities and treatments. The Awakening Club is a fully inclusive environment for family friendly fun that is normally only available to lovers of late nights and dance floors. Our event its one big dance floor and everyone and anyone is welcome.”
