Freaky enough to join the circus?

Thursday 03 July 2014

If you’ve got a freakish talent you could soon get to show it off on stage and join the circus when it comes to Jersey.

The Circus of Horrors is performing at Jersey Opera House later this month and they are looking for a local act to join them.

Auditions to find Jersey’s Freak Factor are taking place on Wednesday 23 July at the theatre which the stars of the show will judge to decide who will get to perform in their sinister new show.

The Circus of Horrors performers found fame after reaching the finals of Britain’s Got Talent and have since appeared on television shows, at festivals and even on the West End – the first circus to do so in more than one hundred years.

Led by Dr Haze, the group is full of sword swallowers, knife throwers, daredevil balancing acts, astounding aerialists, gyrating and fire limbo-ing acrobats, a dwarf strong man, a Guinness World Record holding ‘hairculian’ hair hanging beauty and a dislocating contortionist.

If you’ve got something extra freaky to add to the show, you can contact Jersey Opera House Marketing & Sales Manager Abi Nance in advance on (01534) 511 109 or email abigail.nance@jerseyoperahouse.co.uk with full details of your talent.

The Circus of Horrors will be performing at the theatre on Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 July at 8 pm and at 6 pm and 9 pm on Friday 25 July.
