Complimentary lunchtime wellness sessions are set to continue at the Waterfront throughout the winter, thanks to a new partnership with AquaSplash.

The Jersey Development Company has announced that the lunchtime Tai Chi and yoga sessions will move inside the AquaSplash building from Thursday 17 October.

AquaSplash Contract Manager Steve Dunford said: “AquaSplash is delighted to partner with JDC to ensure that Wellness classes continue throughout the winter months.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to our site!”

The JDC has also confirmed that the lunchtime fitness sessions will continue next summer, alongside ibiza-themed DJ evenings held on Friday evenings in Trenton Square.

After receiving "overwhelmingly positive" feedback, the States-owned company said that similar free weekly events will run between next June and September.

JDC CEO Lee Henry said the events will continue to make the Waterfront a "vibrant community hub".

“We are incredibly pleased with the turnout and delighted with the positive feedback from the community," he said.

"Our goal has always been to make the Waterfront a vibrant, inclusive space for everyone, and these events have truly brought that vision to life.

"The combination of wellness and social activities has resonated with islanders and visitors, and we’re looking forward to continuing to build on this momentum.”
